![]() If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, promptly return your Logitech product in its original package with your sales receipt within 30 days or in accordance with the return policy of your point of purchase, whichever is longer.ġ. General. By using your Logitech product you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement. I haven't got a clue why.īoth receivers are plugged into the same USB hub, but changing that does not seem to make any difference. Please read this software license agreement carefully before using your Logitech product. Both are running identical versions of Options+ ( at the time of writing). For example: my MX Master 3 does not even have a functioning SCROLL WHEEL in that mode!Īgain, everything is the same. And the other device shows up as disconnected and is only usable in the most basic way. Mac Studio #2: Only one device shows up, whichever I plugged in first. Mac Studio #1: Both devices show up in Options+, I can use both properly at the same time. Everything is connected identically.ĭevices: MX Master 3 via Unifying receiver, MX Mechanical via Bolt receiver. ![]() I use a KVM switch, so they both have EXACTLY the same setup and the same devices. I have two Mac Studios: same version of Ventura (one is an M1 Ultra, one M1 Max, but that should not make a difference): What you described actually CAN work! Sometimes. Please fix this and fix this soon, or at a minimum, please release a Bolt version of the MX keys for Mac (or a Unifying version of the MX Master 3S.)Įdit: I found a solution to this problem! See link here: After all, as you repeatedly have pointed out, they are totally separate products, and therefore should not interfere with each other anymore than someone connecting two separate USB printers would. They are your CURRENT PRODUCTS!!! I could get past products not working together, but I also don’t get why you don’t simply update your Logi Options+ to properly recognize both receivers at once. So here I am, trying yet again to support your company, and just like when I purchased your Craft keyboards and got burned there (check out how many support cases I worked with you on that, and not a single one came to fruition btw and they just sit in my drawer!) I find myself being bitten again by you guys. This means if I have to use USB (which I do) I can’t use your MX Master 3S at the same time as the MX Keys for Mac, which baffles me considering they are both your current products, and you do not make a Bolt-compatible version of the MX Keys for Mac, nor a Unifying version of the MX Master 3S, and as mentioned, being different radio technologies, you don’t offer a single receiver that can work with both. along with all the customizations you set up, but all of your Bolt devices, such as the MX Master 3S, will show as ‘disconnected’ in Logi Options+ even though again, you can still use it in basic/‘dumb’ mode. no customizations, etc.) since Logi Options+ doesn’t ‘see’ those devices.Ĭonversely, if you connect the Unifying receiver first, you can fully use any Unifying devices with Logi Options+ such as the aforementioned MX Keys for Mac or the MX Master 3, etc. Any devices connected to the second receiver will appear as disconnected in Logi Options+.Īs an example, if you connect the Bolt receiver first, you can fully use any Bolt devices with Logi Options+, such as the aforementioned MX Master 3S along with all the customizations you set up, but all of your Unifying devices, such as the aforementioned MX Keys for Mac or an MX Master 3 will show as ‘disconnected’ even though you can still use them in basic/‘dumb’ mode (i.e. Specifically, the issue is you can’t use both the Bolt receiver and the Unifying receiver at the same time on the same Mac as Logi Options+ will only recognize whichever receiver you connected first. I have to rely on USB, which your products claim to support, and there is no mention that the two receivers can’t be (fully) used simultaneously. I also understand one could choose to use bluetooth to connect to all such devices without issue, but bluetooth is not an option in my case. To be clear, I understand you can’t use a Bolt device with a Unifying receiver, nor a Unifying device with a Bolt receiver as they are totally different wireless technologies. When having to rely on USB only, your latest products like the MX Keys for Mac and the MX Master 3S cannot be used at the same time when using separate Bolt and Unifying receivers.
